The Tiger I was rushed into service. There were many problems such as, the engine couldn't cope with the weight. The layout was very similar to earlier German tanks. When the tanks came off the production line, where were not enough skillfull crews to man them. Although the tank had strong armour, a powerful gun and a huge weight, the tank failed to have a large impact on the battlefield. But, this tank had an extreme psychological effect.
