Lego military ww2 builds battlefield

This is The Ultimate Guide to Lego® Military Battlefields and how to build them. We will share tips and tricks so you can make the best Lego® battlefield ever. We know that there is the frequent stress of making mistakes and this can put many people off building a Lego® battlefield scene.

We will share many tips and tricks, so you can make the best Lego® battlefield ever.

Let's Go!

Step #1: Preparation & Planning

An amazing Lego® battlefield has to start with first and the most important step. Having a plan is VERY important because if you start building straight it is difficult to get the build interesting and detailed. And a good Lego® scene or moc should fit the style and theme you want to achieve. A Lego® military battlefield should include vehicles, minifigures and builds which were around in that era.

For Example: World War II - 1930s-40s Era

Preparation allows you to see the layout of the Lego® build 'Will it be cramped or spacious?'

If the build doesn't have a good layout is might not look or flow right. It always helps to draw out the Lego® build and label important areas or parts.

Also analysis and know how many pieces you have and plan the size of the Lego® build because if you don't have many pieces build a smaller Lego® moc. But this means you don't have to lose detail because you can use larger and moulded pieces to get the same effect.

Step #2: Gather Pieces

After you have planned the layout of your Lego® battlefield, you can start thinking about what type of pieces you will need / want. Every Lego® moc uses different pieces to achieve the builds.

For example: A house would need a door, windows and a roof so what pieces would you need for those parts of that build.

Also, when you are looking for pieces to use, smaller pieces are better for more detail. Sometimes it is better to use many smaller pieces for one part of a build. But know what will be seen and is close to the viewer, because there isn't any point in using a lot of pieces if it is in a house in a large city and it won't be seen.

Step #3: Use Interesting Techniques

Every great Lego® build should use a lot of new and interesting techniques. This means that your Lego® military battlefield is interesting to the viewer. There are ways to learn new techniques. One way is tutorials: you can find great tutorials on YouTube and step by step posts on social media.

Another way is experimenting: Lego® builders find new techniques by seeing what happens when they build their Lego® military battlefield.

We hope this helps when you start your own Lego® military battlefield.
